Rich has been with Kaney Foods since 1991.  After working in almost every segment of the business, he entered in to the sales department in 1999.  “When I started meeting the chefs and owners face to face, I knew I had found my passion.”  Since then, he has shared much success with his customer base on the Central Coast.  He really enjoys consulting with customers on creative and profitable ideas.  “My favorite thing is seeing one of my collabrations on a customer’s menu.” Rich, his wife and 3 children, love to go to the lake on Saturdays.

Born in Bakersfield, CA, Jim moved to the Central Coast in 1980.  He has been with Kaney Foods for over 20 years.  Loves the foods business because of the daily challenges it brings forth.  His wife’s name is “Cookie” they have 3 kids. 1 boy who is retired from the air force and 2 girls.  He is a Grandfather to 8.  His hobbies include playing golf when gets a chance and keeping his customers happy.

Born and raised in the Santa Barbara- Goleta area, where he still lives. He has been with Kaney Foods for 10 years as a Sales Representative. He is married with two Sons. His wife’s name is Marybeth, and his sons names are Kyle and Cole. Both will be attending UCSB in the fall. He enjoys playing Golf with his friends when he gets the chance.

Michael has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry.  He has been involved in all aspects of successful restaurant programs; marketing, menu design and costing, layout of kitchen and dining room and extensive wine knowledge- certified sommelier from the court masters of sommeliers.  He grew up in a household where his Father would go to Farmers markets several times a week and great meals were an important part of family life.  He started surfing at age 7 and has continued to do so all his life.

Benny Juarez

Benny has been in the food service industry for over 20 years.  His most extensive experience is with menu analysis and food cost.  He enjoys the challenge of coming up with new menu ideas and he loves when he creates a new, unique, signature item for his customer’s menu.  His wife, Linda, and him have been married 36 years and they have 2 children, Benny Jr. and Theresa who recently got married.  When he is not working he enjoys Sundays with family, BBQing with his new son-in-law, and watching every football game on 3 big screens!
