One of the comments that we get most often regarding our grass-fed filet mignon steaks, is that they have a tremendous flavor to match their tenderness. There is definitely a zesty overtone to their flavor profile, which is the signature of Hearst Ranch Grass-Fed Beef. Like all Hearst Ranch Grass-Fed steaks, which cook about 30% faster than traditional, grain-fed beef, our filets are best served rare to medium rare. For best results, coat the steaks with Hearst Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil and rub with a salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
